Hi, I’m Dawn. Your Photography Teacher
In 2009, I bought my first camera. No one was more surprised than me to find out that a new, fancy camera wasn’t enough to help me create great images. The operating instructions weren’t much help. Other photographers tried to explain, but I couldn’t follow all the jargon. It took me years to nail the basics.
When I realized my fellow photographers also struggled with their high-powered cameras, I knew I had to create a space for women just like you. Fast forward all these years later, I’m a photography teacher leading an online community of over 50,000 women photographers worldwide.
What you should know about my teaching style: most describe me as motivational, non-techy, and lots of fun. I’ll give you my honest feedback but I’ll never say an unkind word.
