WHICH SUBJECTS ARE BEST FOR BLUR

There are certain subjects which are perfect for blur photography and others which just don’t cut the mustard. Also, you’ll learn which looks are more suitable for smartphone images  and when it’s better to use your cameras.

 

DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES

you’ll learn how to set your camera up to create blur and how to create blur with your smartphone.

 

WHich image properties TO EMPHASISE AND HOW

The beauty in blur images will come into its own in the post-editing process. I’ll show you how to emphasise the most important properties with the help of Lightroom, Adobe Camera RAW (a filter within Photoshop), in Photoshop and in Snapped on your smartphone (this is a free app).

 

CREATIVE POST EDITING METHODS:

There are several brilliant ways to create blur in your images in Photoshop and I’ll be demonstrating these methods so you can use them on any of your own images.

+ Which equipment do I need to get the maximum potential out of this workshop?

A camera or smartphone. It does make sense to have access to Photoshop *(although not everyone who has purchased the workshop does and they’re still delighted with their new images)

+ Are the techniques difficult to learn?

Not at all. You’ll be learning by doing. All the methods will be demonstrated via video so you can see first hand what you need to do. You’ll also learn many basic tricks in Photoshop and ba able to create your own blur editing methods before long.

+ How long do I have access to the content?

You have lifetime access to the workshop content, community area and feedback for as long as you need – and you can learn at your own pace.

+ What happens after I’ve registered?

You’ll receive an email with a link to the SOOP group / workshop. All you need to do is click the link (this is like turning the key in the door). Then you add your name, email and a password of your choice and you’ll have immediate access to all the content.
